Abbey holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen’s University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. With specialized training in suicide intervention and trauma, Abbey has also gained invaluable experience working on a crisis line, supporting individuals in moments of acute distress. Her background reflects a deep commitment to providing compassionate and informed care. Abbey brings her expertise in working with teens, young adults, adults, and couples, helping clients navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. She is dedicated to ongoing learning and growth, ensuring her therapeutic skills remain sharp and effective.

Abbey’s approach to therapy is rooted in authenticity, collaboration, and compassion. She believes that building a strong therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of meaningful change. Fees
$160 per 50 minute session for individuals / $ 190 per 50 minute session for couples
Payment in the form of cash, checks, or email transfer is due at the end of each session unless other arrangements have been made. Please note that 2 business days notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full session fee. Some third-party payment plans such as Extended Health Care Insurance and Employee/Family Assistance Programs pay partial or total coverage for counselling services. Please follow up with your benefits plan/health care provider.
