Marcie is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with expertise in working with ADHD,ASD and anxiety disorders. She collaborates closely with parents to extend support beyond the therapy room. Passionate about working with children and youth, Marcie employs a playful and creative approach, bringing an upbeat energy that helps foster close relationships with clients of all ages.
FOCUS
Marcie focuses on creating a safe and trusting therapeutic space, integrating a psychodynamic lens and evidence-based modalities to support client growth. She has a deep commitment to working with anxiety, disorders, depression, ADHD, ASD, and emotional dysregulation. When working with children and youth, Marcie incorporates creativity and play to effectively engage with her clients. She is dedicated to enhancing clients’ relationships with themselves and others, fostering growth and healing in a compassionate environment.

Approach
Marcie offers a warm and welcoming approach, creating a safe space for clients to have difficult conversations. She believes that each client is the expert in their own life and sees her role as helping her clients by walking alongside them in their journey. Marcie helps clients identify unhelpful behaviors and understand their roots while collaboratively developing adaptive behaviours that promote growth and well-being. Her goal is to empower clients to navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve meaningful change in their lives. Recognizing the importance of the family’s role in supporting change, she works closely with parents, providing education, coaching, and support to ensure healthy coping strategies are generalized across different personal and social environment.
Fees
$170 per 50 minute session for individuals
$200 per 50 minute session for family
Payment in the form of credit card or email transfer is due at the end of each session unless other arrangements have been made. Please note that 2 business days notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full session fee. Some third party payment plans such as Extended Health Care Insurance and Employee/Family Assistance Programs pay partial or total coverage for counselling services. Please follow up with your benefits plan/health care provider.
